We've seem to hit a stand still. 3 weeks and still no update on when our court date will be. For the second, third, or fourth time (I've lost count), I think I have gotten all the paperwork that they will need done today. I will be dropping it off tomorrow.
On a brighter note, we had an adoption shower thrown for us this past weekend. It was so great (and humbling) to have everyone come out in support of our adoption. Our friend, Megan, did such a great job putting it together! And I LOVED all the pink, purple and girly colors! It was fun to open the gifts and see all the clothes I'll be able to dress her up in, the items to make her room more homey, the toys that I will get to play with with her soon and the financial blessings that people poured out for Tori. We took a huge leap of faith when God prompted us to adopt and we have been so grateful for the people God has placed in our lives to help us bring Tori home. We will be forever in awe of God's awesome ability to make things happen. We are so thankful that he has blessed others who have, in turn, blessed us!
