Our Lithuanian Adoption Adventure: Settled in Vilnius

We are back in Vilnius. Viktorija had a doctor's appointment with an embassy doctor this afternoon. It went very well. Everything looks great (for the limited stuff they actually look at and check). She had to get two vaccinations for which she was very brave.

After the appointment we got checked into our last apartment in Lithuania. B is taking to calling us gypsies. It feels that way too! The apartment is nice, but very small. It's right in the middle of Old Town so there is lots to see. There's a "park" near by that Viktorija loved...she has no fear.

Tomorrow we have an appointment at the embassy then we are going to climb the ginormous hill to the 3 crosses and Gedimino Tower. Harry's excited because we found a burger joint not far from our apartment that we are going to have for lunch. Not much to really report. Just trying to make more connections with Viktorija. She is doing so well. She loves Devin and gives little attention to anyone else when she has Devin's attention. Tonight we got her to sit with B and I and do some number puzzles. She's very smart. She has been throwing in a few English phrases she has already picked up like, "I don't know," "right here," and at bedtime she said "I love you" to me. Melt my heart.
